Obtaining a level of athletic fitness in order to compete at the highest level requires both mental toughness and hard work.  A significant level of strength is important for you as an athlete, but having the ability to compete with intensity and without fatigue or failure is an absolute must if you expect to beat up your competition and finish out high fiving your teammates rather than walking away with your head hanging low.  To turn up the intensity you’ve got to be willing to turn up the intensity!
