The Kettlebell Workout For Women – A Mix of the Iron Bell and Simple Body Movements!
Too many times I have been approached by women asking me whether or not a kettlebell workout can burn fat. I have to practice biting my tongue, because I am wondering what else they would think that it is good for. Now I know that it is great for building lean muscle, superior strength, and the cardiovascular conditioning of a horse, so I know that even guys wouldn’t use it for other reasons like burning fat, right? Now ladies I’m not picking on all of you. Some of the greatest trainers and strength specialist I have known have been women. All I am saying is that, by in large, women need a wake up call when it comes to getting TRUE results.
The kettlebell is great for you and if you are truly serious about obtaining some mind-blowing results then you need to practice the following program. The TRUTH about building a superior body doesn’t come from some shiny $4000 machine at your local health club. The truth about building a superior body comes from hard work and simple human mechanical movements that will get you into the greatest shape of your life!
If you have read my other articles then you may know that one of the base lifts of the kettlebell is the “swing.” This lift alone encompasses about 75 to 80% of all of your working muscles! This gives you a serious calorie burn when it comes to your workout. By including this base lift intermittently into a workout of you executing whole body movements you will promote some serious weight-loss and gain an optimal level of fitness. A good example of this plan for women’s fitness would be to execute about 30 to 40 double-arm swings with the bell and then follow up with a set of 10 push-ups. Another cycle would be to do the same number of swings followed up by a set of 10 walkout planks. All you are doing is including the swings between every set of other whole body exercises. This is a great kettlebell workout routine for you to develop that superior Greek Goddess-like body!
